General terms and conditions for purchases via the Isolite Peptides online shop.
1. Scope and Contract Partner
These Terms & Conditions (T&C) apply to all contracts concluded via the Isolite Peptides online shop between
you as customer and the following service provider:
Ferdinand Maier – Isolite
Kirchstr. 9

Differing terms of the customer do not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.
2. Research Use Only
All products offered by Isolite Peptides are supplied exclusively as research-grade laboratory materials.
They are intended for use in controlled laboratory environments only and are not intended for
human or veterinary consumption, medical treatment, cosmetic use or household applications.
By placing an order, you confirm that you will use the products solely in accordance with applicable laws,
internal SOPs and safety standards, and that you have the necessary expertise and infrastructure to handle
such materials safely.
3. Eligible Customers and Accounts
The shop is primarily aimed at professional customers (e.g., laboratories, research institutions, businesses).
Consumers as defined in applicable law may only order if they use the products exclusively in a non-medical
research context and comply with all safety requirements. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders
where improper use is suspected.
4. Conclusion of Contract
The product presentations in the online shop are non-binding and do not constitute a legal offer.
By completing the order process and clicking the button to submit your order, you place a binding offer
to purchase the selected items. We may accept this offer by sending an order confirmation via email or by
dispatching the goods. A contract is only concluded upon such acceptance.
5. Prices, Taxes and Payment
All prices shown in the shop are in the currency indicated and, unless otherwise stated, inclusive of
applicable statutory VAT. Any additional costs (e.g. shipping, customs duties or fees) are displayed separately
during checkout where applicable.
Available payment methods are shown during the ordering process (e.g., PayPal, card payment, bank transfer,
other providers). We reserve the right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases. The purchase
price is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract unless otherwise agreed.
6. Shipping, Delivery and Transfer of Risk
Details on shipping methods, delivery areas, delivery times and the free shipping threshold are provided in our
separate
Shipping & Delivery
information and form part of these Terms & Conditions.
For business customers, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration of the goods passes to you when the shipment
is handed over to the carrier. For consumers, the statutory provisions apply.
7. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer within the meaning of applicable law, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for
distance contracts. Details on the conditions, deadlines and procedure are set out in our separate
Right of Withdrawal
information.
8. Returns, Inspection and Complaints
Upon receipt, you are requested to inspect the goods without undue delay and to report any visible transport
damage or obvious defects to us as soon as possible. This does not affect statutory rights but facilitates
fast clarification.
Returns of research materials are generally only possible after prior agreement and in line with the applicable
return instructions. Opened, contaminated or improperly stored laboratory materials may be excluded from return
for safety and quality reasons.
9. Product Information and Warranty
Product descriptions, purity specifications (e.g. HPLC %) and COA documentation are provided to the best of our
knowledge and reflect typical laboratory specifications. They do not constitute guarantees of specific performance
in applications. Minor deviations customary in the trade remain reserved where they do not affect suitability for
the agreed research purpose.
Statutory warranty rights apply. For business customers, warranty claims may be limited to replacement delivery
or credit note in accordance with applicable law.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for damages resulting from injury to
life, body or health. In the event of simple negligence, we are liable only for breaches of an essential
contractual obligation (cardinal duty); in this case, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typically
occurring damage. Any further liability is excluded, subject to mandatory statutory provisions (e.g. product
liability law).
11. Compliance and Customer Obligations
You are responsible for ensuring that the purchase, import, storage and use of the products complies with all
applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction (e.g. chemical, customs, safety and environmental rules).
You must ensure that only appropriately trained personnel handle the products and that suitable protective
measures and waste disposal procedures are in place.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These T&C are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on the
International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a merchant or act as a business customer, the place of jurisdiction
for all disputes arising from or in connection with the contractual relationship is our registered place of business,
provided no mandatory consumer jurisdiction applies.
13. Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these T&C be or become invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
In place of the invalid provision, the statutory provision shall apply. There are no verbal side agreements; any
changes or additions require text form.
