Right of Withdrawal (EU)
Information on the right of withdrawal for consumers under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) and corresponding national provisions. This information applies only where the customer qualifies as a consumer (natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business or profession).
1. Scope & B2B Focus
Isolite Peptides primarily supplies research-use laboratory products to professional customers (institutions, laboratories, businesses). For contracts where the customer acts in the course of their trade, business or profession (B2B contracts), the statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply.
The following withdrawal information is provided as a mandatory notice for cases in which, by way of exception, a contract is concluded with a customer who is legally classified as a consumer.
2. Instructions on Withdrawal (Consumers Only)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is:
- For a contract for the sale of goods: 14 days from the day you or a third party indicated by you, who is not the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods.
- If you have ordered multiple goods as part of a single order and the goods are delivered separately: 14 days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you, who is not the carrier, receive the last of the goods.
- For delivery of a good consisting of multiple lots or pieces: 14 days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you, who is not the carrier, receive the last lot or piece.
3. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form set out below, but its use is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
4. Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract as a consumer, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery (except for the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us).
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
As a guideline, and subject to the above, we aim to complete refund processing within approximately 5 days after receipt and inspection of the returned goods.
We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
You must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
5. Exclusions / Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal for consumers does not apply to, inter alia:
- Supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.
- Supply of goods which are sealed and are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if they were unsealed after delivery (for example, opened, contaminated or otherwise compromised research reagents and laboratory materials).
- Supply of goods which are liable to rapid deterioration or expiry.
- Supply of goods which, after delivery and according to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items.
- Contracts where the customer acts in the exercise of their trade, business or profession (B2B); in such cases, consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.
Important note: Isolite Peptides supplies products strictly for laboratory research purposes (not for human use). For reasons of product safety, traceability and quality control, returns of opened, damaged, contaminated or otherwise compromised research materials may be excluded, even where a statutory right of withdrawal would in principle exist.
